$ 250.00

Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece is a square jar with four sides and a flat top.  Each side is painted with Zuni designs, from rain clouds to rain birds.  Note the precision of the thin lines on this piece!  The lid is in the shape of a tablita and each side has a different design.   A tablita is a flat headdress worn by women during Pueblo ceremonial dances.  The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
