Natseway, Thomas – Mini Three Sided Jar with Mythical Mimbres Figures

Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece has three sides and a flat top.  All the imagery are mythical Mimbres figures.  There is a “bird man”, a “fish man”, and a group of four “bird men”.  Note the precision of the thin lines on this piece!  The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
