Natseway, Thomas – Mini Tularosa Swirl Water Jar with Corrugated Rim (1981)
Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece which is over 1″ tall or wide! This is an early piece of his pottery from 1981. It is a small jar with a corrugated rim. The triangular corrugation is made in three rows. The rest of the jar is painted with a swirling Tularosa design. Note the thin lines painted as part of the design. The jar is signed on the bottom, “Thomas Natseway”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
