Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece is a Zuni kiva bowl with terraced or kiva step edges. There is a mini handle going across the piece. There are dragonflies on the handle and dragonflies painted inside the bowl.  The outside has four painted frogs.  No wonder is one of his most visually entrancing pieces.  The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
