Dolly Joe Navasie is best known by her name White Swann.  She is the daughter of Eunice “Fawn” Navasie and a sister of Dawn and Fawn Navasie.  This seepot is coil built and painted with bee-weed (black) and a red clay slip. The piece has four moths painted on the sides. Their wings are slipped red.  The top is a star pattern.  The seedpot was fired to create the blushes.  It is signed on the bottom, “White Swann”.   It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
