$ 150.00

Eunice “Fawn” Navasie was a daughter-in-law of Paqua Naha and a sister-in-law of Joy “Frogwoman” Navasie.  This is a small fully polished. bow.  The bowl is fully polished on the inside.  The outside is painted with a series of rain and bird feather patterns. The black is painted with bee-weed and highlighted with the classic red clay.  The red she used on her earlier pieces is a deeper coloration than on the later work which was more orange. The bowl was traditionally fired which created the subtle blushes on the surface of the jar.  Eunice was known for her great colorations from the firing.  The bowl is signed Fawn on the bottom,  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
