Grace Navasie is a daughter of noted potter Joy “Frogwoman” Navasie. This jar has a round shoulder and a short neck.  The body of the jar is painted with sections of swirling birds, feathers, and bird tails. The jar is painted with bee-weed (black) and red clay slip which is polished in areas. The jar is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay with the Frog Hallmark and a “G” for Grace.
