Christine Nieto (1965-2008) was a sister of Frances Naranjo Martinez (married to Marvin Martinez) and the daughter of Lorriane Naranjo.  This bowl is round in shape.  It is fully polished and fired brown in coloration.  It is etched with a series of flowers across the entire surface of the piece.   Christine was known for her brown-fired pottery and delicately etched designs.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “C. Nieto”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
