Paulita Pacheco was a sister of noted potter Robert Tenorio.  She was married to Gilbert Pacheco and her daughter, Rose Pacheco continues to make traditional-style Kewa pottery.  Paulita learned to make pottery from her mother Juanita C. Tenorio and grandmother Andrea Ortiz. This jar has a low shoulder and a slightly turned-out rim.  There is a rain design around the neck of the jar.  Around the top of the shoulder are flower designs.   The piece is signed on the bottom, “Paulita Pacheco”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
