Doris Patricio was the matriarch of a family of exceptional potters, including Robert Patrico.  Each piece is coil-built and painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips. This is a classic Acoma-shaped water jar with a round shoulder and short neck.  The jar has tiny rain clouds extending down from the neck and flowers around the sides.  It is painted with bee-weed (black) and red clay. It is signed “D. Patricio”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
