Georgia Patricio is a daughter of Lucy Juanico and a granddaughter of Joselita Ray and learned to make pottery from her mother.  Each piece is coil-built and patined with wild spinach and clay slips.  This jar is an elegant shape with a high, round shoulder and an elongated neck.  The jar has a feather design around the neck and bird wings in red around the center with additional feathers below.  The design has an “op-art” style as it gets smaller near the neck and base and larger around the shoulder.  It is signed on the bottom, “G. Patricio”.
