Juanita Patricio (b. 2001) is an 18-year-old daughter of noted potter Robert Patricio.  This jar is coil built and thin-walled. It has a classic water jar shape with a high shoulder and a short neck.  The jar is painted with an intricate rainbird design. The birds swirl down from the neck and the are additional cloud and rain designs. The black is bee-weed (a plant) and the base is painted with a red clay slip.  The jar is signed, “Juanita Patricio”.
