June Pino Cheromiah is a granddaughter of Mary Antonio and a daughter of James Pino and Zelda Chaplin Pino.  She learned to make pottery from Rachel Concho, Paul Lucario, Mildred Antonio, and Barbara & Joseph Cerno. Each piece is coil-built from native clay and painted with bee-weed and clay slips.  This jar has a fluted rim.  Above the shoulder are cloud designs.  Below the shoulder are fine-line sunset designs highlighted with red clay.  It is signed on the bottom, “June Pino”.
