June Pino Cheromiah is a granddaughter of Mary Antonio and a daughter of James Pino and Zelda Chaplin Pino.  She learned to make pottery from Rachel Concho, Paul Lucario, Mildred Antonio, and Barbara & Joseph Cerno. Each piece is coil-built from native clay and painted with bee-weed and clay slips.  This jar has a cloud pattern above the shoulder.  There are star designs extending downward from the shoulder. The jar is painted with thin lines across the surface.  It is signed on the bottom, “June Pino”.
