Tim Roller (b. 1959) is a son of noted potter Toni Roller and a grandson of Margaret Tafoya. This jar is coil-built, stone polished, and traditionally fired black.  The jar has a high shoulder and a short neck.  The lid has a handle and it sits into the neck of the jar.  It is fired a deep black coloration.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Tim Roller”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
