This is a classic bowl by Russell Sanchez.  It is coil-built and fully polished.  The bowl has an incised avanyu around the top of the shoulder.  Note the little bear paw and sun and clouds above the avanuyu.  The rim is two-toned green.  Below the avanyu is a band of silver leafing with two rows of shell hei-shi beads.  Below the shoulder are incised clouds.  The jar has a rounded lid that is also fully polished.  It is signed with Russell’s hallmark from the early 2000s, a rafter.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
