This bowl by Russell Sanchez is from 1997.  It is fully polished green.  There is a single medallion that is slipped with mica.  Russell etched a bird that encompasses the medallion but the head and tail feathers extend outward.  The medallion has a single band of hei-shi beads in a circle.  The contrast of the colors of green and mica are striking on this bowl.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Russell Sanchez”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
