This is the smallest plate we have every had by Russell Sanchez. He calls it a “micro mini”, which is even smaller than a miniature!  It is only ONE INCH in diameter!  The center is fully polished and etched with a bear.  The rim and back are slipped with mica.  There is a single inset turquoise stone in the bear and turquoise hei-shi beads around the plate.  They are microbeads as well.  The plate was traditionally fired black.  It is signed on the back in the clay, “Russell”.   It is amazing when a potter can make pieces at this very, very small size and yet have the precision as if they were much larger!  Shipping is included.
