This asymmetric jar Russell Sanchez is from 1995.  It is one of his classic asymmetric forms with a sharp edge and an indented side. The top half is polished red while the bottom half is polished tan.  Separating the two sections is a single inset band of turquoise hei-shi beads.  The piece is very highly polished and a striking form.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Russell Sanchez”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
