Stetson Setalla is a son of noted potter Pauline Setalla.  This large tile is fully polished on the front and the back.  It has a brown painted border and the center is designed with a complex hummingbird and flower design.  There are three different colors of clay along with the black (bee-weed) used for the design. It is a striking series of designs on the tile.  It was traditionally fired and it is signed on the back, “S. Setalla”.
