Jerry Sisneros learned to make pottery from his mother, Olaria Sisneros.  He was never prolific but created well polished and intricately painted pieces.  This jar has a wide, sharp shoulder with a short neck.  It is fully polished to a high shine. The design is a very intricately painted plant design on one half and an eagle father design on the other half.  The painting leaves enough open polished space to reveal the highly polished surface.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Jerry Sisneros”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
