Anita Suazo is a daughter of noted potter Belen Tapia. This is one of her traditional vessels with deeply carved designs. There is an avanyu deeply carved into the clay and the bowl is stone polished. The background is a cream-colored clay. The bowl is in excellent condition and signed on the bottom in the clay, “Anita Suazo”.
