Santanita Suazo was the mother of Margie Naranjo, Martha Huangooah, Mae Tapia, and Shirley Duran.  This bowl is coil built, stone polished, painted, and traditionally fired a glassy black. The bowl has a feather design along with a lighting and rain pattern.  The bottom is also fully polished.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Santanita Suazo”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
