This is a large seedpot by Camilio Tafoya.  It is from 1979. The entire surface was fully polished and then etched with design.  There is a stylized deer and two rabbits on one side.  As the piece is turned, there are cloud and a feather pattern.  Note in the deer the variation in the depth of the design with the more realistic head and the matte red for the elongated body.  It is signed on the bottom “Camilio Sunflower Tafoya”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
