This seedpot by Camilio Tafoya is very intricately designed. It is from 1994.  The piece has realistic rabbits on the top with lots of etched detail to the fur.  The side has four different Mimbres inspired insects encircling the piece.  They are each different. They are polished red and then etched and slipped with white and gray clay.  The polished outline is unusual in Camilio’s pottery.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Camilio”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
