$ 475.00

This seedpot by Camilio Tafoya is from 1994-5. It is fully polished and fully designed on the top.  There are four stylized birds polished red and highlighted with blue, white, and green clay slips.  Separating them are Pueblo dancers wearing feather headdresses.  There are two figures on each side. On the top is another medallion with a single figure holding feathers.  The bottom is fully polished red.  The colors are all added from various clay slips.  Camilio was living with Joseph Lonewolf, his son, at the time he made this.  Joseph would give him the clay slips to use for the colors.  The piece is signed on the bottom “Camilio”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
