Myra Little Snow Tafoya was known for her creative deep carved pottery.  Each piece is coil-built, carved, and stone polished.  This jar has around the shoulder and the top and bottom are fully polished. The center is carved with very tight cloud and rain designs.  It is very complex for the size of the piece.  The jar is fired to a black coloration.  It is signed on the bottom, “Myra Little snow”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  There are two small air bubbles on the neck that are slightly raised.
