This is one of Ray Tafoya’s few wedding vases.  The entire piece is fully polished and fired red. The design is a hummingbird in a medallion on each side of the piece.  There are cloud designs on the sides.  The handle is also fully polished!  There are additional clay highlights of yellow, blue, and white.  The wedding vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, with his hallmark, which means “White Mountain”.
