This is an early piece by Linda Tafoya-Sanchez.  She is a granddaughter of noted potter Margaret Tafoya and a daughter of Lee & Betty Tafoya.  She is known for her intricately carved pottery.  It is a seedpot is fully polished with no design.  It was fired a glassy black coloration.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Linda Tafoya”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
