This small plate by Linda Tafoya-Sanchez is deeply carved and highly polished.  The center, avanyu, rim and back are all fully polished.  The plate is deeply carved with an avanyu encircling the piece.  Note the style of her avanyu is very similar to that of her father, Lee Tafoya (note the square head on the avanyu).  It is fired a deep black.  It is signed on the back, “Linda Tafoya”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
