Dianna Tahbo was known for her tightly painted pottery and especially her beautiful miniatures.  This piece is from 1995 and it is an exceptional smaller work in clay.  Dianne learned to make pottery from her brother, Mark Tahbo.  This is a round jar with a slight neck.  The jar is fully polished and painted with two different red clays, which is definitely unusual! There is a mountain and cloud pattern encircling the bowl.  It is beautifully painted and traditionally fired.  There are blushes on the surface from the firing  It is signed on the bottom, “Dianna Tahbo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
