Grace Tahbo learned to make pottery from Mark Tahbo.  She is known for her miniatures.  This is a larger bowl that is coil made and painted with two different colors of clay slips and bee-weed. The bowl has flowers, cloud, and wind designs on the side.  The bottom is slipped red. There is a fully polished spoon or ladle that rests in the piece.  The handle of the ladle is painted.  Both pieces were traditionally fired, creating blushes on the surface.  They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom “G. Tahbo”.
