Tahbo-Namingha, Pam – Small Jar with Moth Design

Pam Tahbo Namignha learned to make pottery from her brother, Mark Tahbo. This small jar is coil built and painted with bee-weed and clay slips. The jar has four moths on the top. It is the design made famous by Grace Chapella. Separating each of the moths are stars. The piece was traditionally fired. It is signed on the bottom, “Pam Tahbo Namingha”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
