Stella Teller (b. 1929) is one of the great names in contemporary Isleta Pueblo pottery. This is one of her classic bear storyteller figures. It is polished white and accented with the blue-gray coloration for which she is most famous. It is a charming piece with each bear in a different position. The large bear has on a turquoise necklace. It is signed on the bottom, “Stella Teller”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
