This bowl by Robert Tenorio has squared-off sides and opening. The bowl is painted with wild spinach (black) on a cream-colored clay slip base. At the shoulder, Robert indented the neck and gave the piece a square opening. There are plant designs on all four sides. They extend around the bowl and below the shoulder. The bowl was traditionally fired outdoors. The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Robert Tenorio, Kewa”. It was made in 2000. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
