This is a creative jar by Robert Tenorio.  The pot is painted with wild spinach (black) and red and copper-colored clay slips.  The neck fo the jar has a feather pattern and inside the jar is a mountain design.  Around the shoulder, there are a series of panels, each with a different phase of a solar eclipse.  The jar starts out with a full sun, and then it is gradually eclipsed until on the opposite side, there is the black over the sun.  It is an exceptional and creative design!  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Robert Tenorio, Kewa.”  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
