Tim Vigil is a son of noted potter Minnie Vigil.  In the 1980s he created some polychrome pottery, as did his sisters.  The jar has a round shoulder and an elongated neck.  It is painted with a feather pattern around the shoulder and a cloud and rain design on the neck. The is an additional cloud design on the inside rim.  The jar is all matte and there are four different colors of clay on the piece!  The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom, “Sunbird”.   Tim’s aunts are potters Gloria Garcia (Goldenrod), Lois Guiterrez and Thelma Talachy.  His grandmother was Petra Gutierrez and great-grandmother was Pasqualita Gutierrez.  Shipping is included.
