Kathleen Wall is a daughter of Fannie Loretto and granddaughter of Cari Loretto. She learned to make pottery from her mother and made her first storyteller when she was eight years old.  In addition, she studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.  She has also been awarded the New Mexico Governor’s Award for the Arts (2021) and has been a MIAC Native Treasures Living Treasure (2020).  This is a set of two koshari clown figures on a watermelon.  One is holding a watermelon.  It is painted with clay slips.  It is all one piece.  The set is signed, “Kathaleen Wall”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
