Emma Yeppa (b. 1965) is known for her carved and polished pottery. She began making pottery at age 13 under the guidance of her mother, Ida Yepa.  She is a cousin of Marcella Yepa and a niece of Alvina Yepa.  This bowl is coil built and fully polished a deep red coloration.  It is etched with 22 feathers encircling the bowl.  Below the shoulder is an angular mountain design.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed, “Emma Yepa”.
