Nola Youvella was a son of noted potters Iris Nampeyo and Wallace Youvella, a grandson of Fannie Nampeyo and a great-grandson of Nampeyo of Hano. He known for his use of plainware pottery with incised designs. Nolan’s pottery can be found in numerous books on Hopi pottery and he has also won awards for his work at Gallup Ceremonials.
