This is a very unusual small bowl by Helen “Featherwoman” Naha.  The bowl is round and slipped with white clay.  There is a snake in relief on the rim of the bowl!  Take a closer look at the head of the snake, it is really well done!  There are cloud designs painted on the remainder of the bowl.  The bowl is signed on the bottom with a feather, which was Helen’s hallmark.  The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
