Daniel Lucario learned to make and paint pottery from his mother, Rebecca Lucario. This plate is very intricately painted. There is a multi-color rim that represents the sun. The center is the North Star, and cornfields are depicted by the checkerboard designs. The plate is thin walled and painted using native clays. It is signed, “D. Lucario”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
