Chris Martinez (b. 1968) is a son of Barbara and Manuel Martinez. He learned to make pottery from his grandmother Flora Naranjo. His siblings Sammy Naranjo and Vickie Martinez are also potters. This bowl is fully polished and etched with a feather pattern. There are thirteen feathers on the bowl. It was fired black and then two-toned sienna on the top. It is signed on the bottom, “Chris Martinez”.
