Patricia Daubs is a sister of noted potter Dennis Daubs. She is known for her intricately incised Jemez pottery. This bowl has a wide shape. It has an avanyu as the design that is etched into the clay and then painted with various clay slips. The rim of the bowl has a feather pattern. There is a single inset piece of turquoise. The bowl is signed “Patricia Daubs”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Patricia Daubs learned to make pottery from her brother, Steve Daubs. Her brother, Dennis Daubs, and Gerri Daubs, are also well known potters. Her pottery often includes feathers, kiva steps, and serpents designs. She also accents her pottery with turquoise stones to give it a unique style.
