Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This mini open bowl has three birds carved into the clay.  You can feel them in relief on the outside. There is a space carved into their wings as well along the rim. They are painted on the inside and outside of the bowl!  Note the precision of the thin lines on this piece!  The bowl is signed, “T.N.”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
