Grace Navasie is a daughter of noted potter Joy “Frogwoman” Navasie. This jar has a wide, sharp shoulder and a short neck. The jar is painted with bee-weed (black) and red clay slip which is polished in areas. The jar has a horizon line painted around the neck. Below the shoulder are geometric cloud, feather and rain designs. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed on the bottom in the clay with the Frog Hallmark and a “G” for Grace.
