Andrew Harvier and Judy Harvier work together under the name “Nana Kaa”, which means Aspen Leaves in Tewa. Judy is a sister of noted potter Debra Duwyenie. This tall jar was made by Judy and it is thin-walled. The jar is carved around the rim with 16 feathers. They are fully polished and incised with cloud designs. Below the feathers is a large avanyu encirlcing the jar. It is matte. In the background, the jar is slipped with mica. It was traditionally fired a deep black coloration. It was made in 1995. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed, “Nana Kaa” on the bottom.

Andrew Harvier and Judy Harvier work together on their pottery. It is signed "NaNa Ka", which translates as "Aspen Leaves" in the Tewa language. Andrew is a son of Andrita Harvier and a grandson of Marina Naranjo. He is a nephew of Pula Gutierrez. Judy Harvier is a sister of noted potter Debra Duwyenie and a niece of Lois Gutierrez, Gloria Garcia, Thelma Talachy, and Minnie Vigil.
