Andrew Harvier and Judy Harvier work together under the name “Nana Kaa”, which means Aspen Leaves in Tewa. Judy is a sister of noted potter Debra Duwyenie. This large jar was made by Judy and it is made from micaceous Taos clay. The jar is deeply carved by Andrew. The design is a classic walking bear paw pattern. The piece was traditionally fired and was made in 1994. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed, “Nana Kaa” on the bottom.

Andrew Harvier and Judy Harvier work together on their pottery. It is signed "NaNa Ka", which translates as "Aspen Leaves" in the Tewa language. Andrew is a son of Andrita Harvier and a grandson of Marina Naranjo. He is a nephew of Pula Gutierrez. Judy Harvier is a sister of noted potter Debra Duwyenie and a niece of Lois Gutierrez, Gloria Garcia, Thelma Talachy, and Minnie Vigil.
