Sharon Naranjo Garcia (b. 1951) is a granddaughter of Christina Naranjo.  She learned to make pottery from her grandmother and is known for her traditional style of pottery. This is a classic low shoulder jar.  It has two bear paws impressed into the clay and then the entire piece was stone polished.  It was fired a glassy black.  It is signed on the bottom, “Sharon Garcia”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Sharon Naranjo Garcia (b. 1951) is a granddaughter of Christina Naranjo.  She learned to make pottery from her grandmother and is known for her traditional style of pottery. This is a sharp shoulder water jar with an elongated neck and turned-out rim.  The jar has two bear paws impressed in the neck.  The entire piece is fully polished and fired a deep red coloration.  It is signed on the bottom, “Sharon Naranjo-Garcia”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
