Rochelle Jewel Medlock (b. 2005) is the daughter of noted potter Autumn Borts-Medlock. The piece is coil-built from native clay, carved, and traditionally fired. The open bow has a polished rim. The center of the bowl has an incised moon with carved craters. It is slipped with mica. There is also a carved star. The outside of the bowl is matte and mica. It is signed, “Rochelle Jewel”. It is exciting to see her continue a legacy of clay!
